Portrait photography by Ellen Korth, done in the crowded streets of Japan.
The portraits were later digitally reduces to purely faces.
By doing so she removed them from the anonymity of the masses and created a new reality.
This intervention changed the „natural beauty” into an „artistic beauty”.
The transparent fabrics covering the faces, show the uniqueness of the portrayed people and make them timeless.
