Every day I was on my way for my WALK book, I walked the same route every day enjoyed nature.
Then came the lockdown and I too was often homebound.
This gave me time for other things, like the many beauties/photobooks, which were still unopened in my bookcase.
Some of them turned out to be even 2 of 3 times bought. Some were actually still sealed. From photographer/painter BALX (Harald Balke), with whom I had already carried out many projects, I received an invitation to participate in a new project.
He great idea was to give each other the name of a photographer, of which we had one or more books, and to make small installations with the books and photograph them. Looking for the lost time (Marcel Proust).
We called it: “MAITRE HERMAN A LA RECHERCHE DE LIVRES PERDUS”.
The bookcases became empty and the house was full of book installations,
allied with toy animals, including bears, so stuffed animals.
It became 7 books, 7 different titles, derived from the titles from Marcel Proust, with a total of 210 photos. Printed by me on 90 grams Fine Art paper.

We suggest an acrylic stand for the books. Back in the day, such standards were on your desk for storing letters.
Sybren Kuiper wrote a nice story for the book.
A piece of the text:

A house has many windows
In the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom.
In the attic and sometimes in the basement.

Windows crowded with people.
So many people with their own life.
so many shapes, sizes, colors and ages
on so many continents.

A house has many windows
Bookcases full.

It became an edition of 10 + 4 AP with 1 or 2 cuddly toys and 3 original photos.
Numbered and signed. A number can be selected via the image. Price on request.
